Shelves with linoleum

Here you can order shelves in linoleum to the size you want. The linoleum shelves are available in the following materials: MDF, plywood and bamboo wood panels with different leading edges. All boards are cut to your desired dimensions. Combine colour and leading edge exactly as you want.

Linoleum is in many ways a pretty amazing product. Linoleum has a matt surface, withstands daily use and wear, is comfortable to touch, easy to clean and is also made almost exclusively of environmentally-friendly materials. The linoleum is 2 mm thick.

Cleaning and maintenance

For daily cleaning, a damp cloth and a neutral detergent are recommended. Use linoleum care at regular intervals to maintain the beautiful surface.

We recommend maintaining oiled edges with oil 1-2 times a year to maintain the glow and resistance to dirt and grime. Untreated edges we recommend treating with either soap, oil or varnish, as they are otherwise susceptible to dirt and stains.

Support

The shelf calculator takes into account how many shelf carriers are to be used depending on the plate thickness. The thicker the plate, the fewer shelf brackets. The number of recommended shelf carriers is only indicative, should the shelf carry a large weight, additional supports may be necessary. In addition, the nature of the wall also determines how much the shelf can be affected by weight.

Make sure that the linoleum shelf is adequately supported. How much depends on the thickness and plate size, as well as how much load the shelf is exposed to. If the shelf starts to bend, more support is needed. In the case of thin shelves, deformations of the board can occur, as the linoleum can contract. Therefore, ensure good and solid support.

Additional info

Scratches will appear on linoleum shelves, but linoleum has an almost self-healing effect, which over time makes the scratches disappear again. This makes linoleum boards suitable for dining tables, coffee tables, table tops, shelves and much more.

Linoleum is biodegradable and does not harm the environment when disposed of.

Tolerances for dimensions and pre-drills: +/- 2 mm
