Frozen Walnut lacquered SHINNOKI - Veneered MDF Window Sill

19 mm window base in MDF with real wood veneer in Frozen Walnut colour and a durable varnish finish.
A cost-effective and dimensionally stable alternative to a solid wood board.

The window sill is cut to size with any cut-outs at each end to fit your window exactly.

The base consists of an MDF board covered on both sides with a beautiful, natural 0.6 mm wood veneer.
The veneer has a 6-layer matte UV varnish, making the surface highly durable, UV-resistant, and resistant to minor scratches and liquid spills.
The surface is also velvety soft and pleasing to the touch, with deep brushing that beautifully highlights the natural wood.

The window sill has matching edge banding on all visible edges but not on the cutouts or the back, which is to be mounted against the wall.

The veneered window sills come in various beautiful wood types and shades, suitable for both classic and modern interiors.

Installation: The attachment of the bottom piece can be done with silicone, which can be bought in any hardware store.

Optionally, we can cut a 10 x 10 mm tongue (tenon) in the rear edge of the window base to fit into the groove if you have one on your window. 10 x 10 mm is a standard size that fits the vast majority of windows, but if you have other measurements, please contact us.
Remember to include the tongue (tenon) in the overall width of the base.

We recommend making each cut approx. 2mm larger to make sure the bottom piece fits. The gap can then be grouted.

NB: The cutouts have an internal radius of 6 mm due to the milling tool.
